14-05-2025
The Interuniversity Doctoral Program in Dynamics of Biogeochemical Flows and their Applications is a highly interdisciplinary academic and research program that aims to train qualified experts in the study, understanding, and application of the physical and biogeochemical processes that regulate the cycles of water and other elements essential to our planet.
This doctoral program represents a unique platform, ideal for students interested in tackling current global challenges and expanding the frontiers of current knowledge, guided by leading international experts and developing their work with unique, state-of-the-art scientific and technical equipment at the Universities of Granada, Cordoba, and Malaga.
Challenges such as the degradation of the marine and terrestrial environment and its ecosystems; the assessment of risks to infrastructure in the face of extreme weather events; the integration of processes for the design of sustainable strategies and nature-based solutions; the study of advanced systems for the sustainable use of resources; and the use of cutting-edge technologies for the observation, monitoring, and modeling of environmental systems; among others, are addressed in this doctoral program, from basic fundamentals to their applications.
