Participación en Canal Málaga

Jorge López Parages, a researcher from the Physical Oceanography Group at the University of Malaga (GOFIMA), took part in the programme 'Málaga al Día' on Canal Málaga, in the section dedicated to scientific research.

During the interview, the researcher explained the group's recent participation in the international WA-CLIM meeting, held in Dakar (Senegal). The aim of this scientific event was to advance our understanding of the physical mechanisms that explain the influence of climate in this African region and its impact on the marine ecosystem.

The interview also addressed the specific contribution from Málaga to this research, for which the researcher presented the results of the CARDUMEN project, shared at the meeting, which help to clarify the relationships between climate, the marine ecosystem, and fishery resources in the northwestern African region.
